In order to create awareness about importance & necessity of modern education, The Bridge conducts extensive “Awareness Programs for motivating minority institutions (Madrasas) for adopting modern education. The program is conducted from time to time.

The Member Secretary, extensively toured many villages/Blocks of Districts Barabanki and Hardoi, namely Baragaon, Zaidpur, Haidergarh, Masauli (Barabanki) and Sainti, Bawan, Bilgram, Sandi, Gopamau (Hardoi).

During his visit, he visited as many as many 28 madrasas and 11 other village-level schools and met their heads and exhorted and convinced them to adopt modern education in the larger interest of children who are being deprived of proper and modern education. The Member Secretary briefed them about various schemes under which their institutions can get assistance for adopting modern education.

He informed about Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, National Institute Of Open Schooling, various scholarship and education support scheme of the Govt. He requested especially madrasas to work in a mission mode, with mission being “ONE DOCTOR, ONE ENGINEER & ONE IN CIVIL SERVICE-FROM OUR MADRASA”.

The other highlight of this program was that Atif, student of Business School, Newzealand, Yasir and Fahad, students of DPS, New Delhi, Bilal, Mariam & Farookh, students of St. James Sr. Sec. School, Hardoi, accompanying the Member Secretary during his visits, motivated children in villages to go to schools and avail education.

The Bridge has Rafi Ahmad Kidwai Memorial Trust, Masauli, Distt. Barabanki, UP, in getting its all 4 Primary, Secondary and Senior Secondary Schools and IRKM Memorial Trust, Zaidpur, Distt. Barabanki, UP in getting one Primary School, included under Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan.
