The Bridge, has been continually disseminating information and conducting awareness camps for handloom weavers and artisans in villages Baragaon, Masauli, Bansa, Neolakarsanda, Nainamau, Kintoor, Rehramau, Budhwara, Achecha, Shahabpur, Darhara, Nainamau etc., District Barabanki, about various programs & schemes of O/O DC Handloom & DC Handicrafts for skill upgradation, improvement in technology, training, marketing and welfare schemes.

We have been successful in mobilizing weavers and artisans for their enrolment for ID & Health Cards, Artisans Credit Cards especially in villages Baragaon, Masauli, Bansa, Neolakarsanda, Nainamau, Kintoor, Rehramau, Budhwara, Achecha, Shahabpur, Darhara, Nainamau etc. for District Barabanki wherein over 12500 weavers and artisans enrolled for health & ID cards and artisans credit cards, during last one year.

Our proposal, formulated in collaboration with the weavers of village Masauli, for establishment of a Common Facilities Centre (CFC) in their village has since been approved by O/O the DC Handloom, Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India. The CFC is being implemented by NIMSME under IHDS.

Our proposal for establishment of 4 Mini Handloom Clusters in villages Kintoor, Shahabpur, Nainamau & Darhara, District Barabanki have been approved by Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India, with the Central Govt. share/grant of Rs. 20.50 Million.
